The classic downtown Charleston wedding venue came alive across swaying palms, vibrant plant life and vine-covered courtyards alongside stylish contemporary design and timeless Southern hospitality. The couple shared vows in the courtyard hugged by a breathing green archway with trickling fountain ambiance.
 
Floral designers with Fresh Weddings & Events summoned spring’s rich full blooming abundance to build overflowing exotic bouquets in the fairest shade of misty rose, white and ivory among natural native greenery. Grand modern romantic reception installations reached skyward in sprouting peace lilies, fern and monsteras towering from golden stands. The simplistic stylish natural theme continued throughout the historic Trolley Room’s reception décor in sterling flatware, classic stemware and creamy ivory linens.
 
Charleston mother-daughter wedding photography team Laura and Rachel Photography kicked the day off with a playful bridal suite pajama and champagne shoot that welcomed the bride’s ultra fluffy cat. The duo captured an artful mix of black and white and color imagery that included a lush first look on the shaded brick-lined terrace and an intimate couple shoot filled with whispers, laughs and Spanish moss floating along gentle afternoon breezes.
 
Guests savored a courtyard cocktail hour plied by Southern delights and bites courtesy of Cannon Green’s professional in-house artisan catering team before moving into the warm, welcoming reception hall for dinner, dancing and heartfelt toasts.
