Gregory Britt grew up gardening in Indiana. In college, he studied art history and painting, and worked in small florist's shops and for event design companies. In 1999, Gregory Britt Design was born and his client list and talents took him all over the globe to curate colorful celebrations. For 10 years, Gregory was the floral and event designer at the world-renowned Inn at Little Washington before landing in Charlottesville.
 
Today, Gregory lives on a farm in Keswick surrounded by dogs, cats, horses and beautiful gardens. The professional flower farmer gets his hands dirty growing dahlias, celosias, cosmos, herbs like mint, sage and dill, and traditional farmstead flowers like zinnias, sunflowers and strawflowers. He calls on natural elements just outside his door — boxwood, holly, honey suckle, bittersweet, moss, branches and vines — to design inspired Charlottesville wedding floral arrangements and decor and believes in the power of flowers to transform any event.
