Discovering a deep passion for photography in her high school darkroom, Melissa earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from VCU and founded Melissa Diane Photography, LLC in 2012. The Shenandoah Valley-based wedding and portrait photographer gathers inspiration from nature, always seeking the best light coming through the trees or the perfect leaf to highlight a beautiful engagement ring. 
 
She loves to envelope her couples in natural beauty, scouting idyllic wine country and Blue Ridge Mountain backdrops to capture timeless romantic wedding photos. She promises to lift you up, hold your veil and provide an effortless experience full of positivity and laughter. Melissa’s wedding photography collections always include two photographers, an engagement session and high-resolution digital files.
