Documentary meets fine art as Charlottesville wedding photographer Shannon Moffit captures events in a real and candid way, placing her intentional creative touch on naturally unfolding moments. A love for style and design appear in her wedding shoots through mindful lighting, posing and detail styling.
 
Shannon’s storytelling method combined with her gift for seeing beauty and making deep connections results in beautiful visual stories. She has documented weddings around the world, including those in Sonoma, Palm Springs, La Jolla, Charleston, Key West, Palm Beach, the Catskills and northern Italy.
 
With a subscription to Vogue at 12 years old and a wild dream to work for a fashion magazine, her love affair with art, culture and adventure grew into a college focus on fine art, art history and black and white film photography. Careers in counseling and fashion photography eventually rolled into wedding photography. She has shot more than 200 weddings since 2010, perfecting her mix of candids and portraits and bringing joy, organization and humor to couples on their day.
