Serena and Joe kicked off their joyous wedding weekend wrapped in modern Charleston style, romance, history and beauty at Cannon Green. Planners, designers, and florists from Christine Janda Design & Events set the vibrant tone, interweaving the perfect picturesque blend of cultural tradition with Lowcountry charm. The chic Cannon Green rehearsal dinner invited guests into the graceful Garden Room under the historic 19th century Charleston Single House façade.
 
The early September fete wore a soft summer coat of exotic florals in fuchsia, violet and mauve singing next to gold, white and tall slender pink candlesticks. The design by Christine Janda utilized rentals by EventWorks and Curated Events and tapped sleek cosmopolitan notes and adoring detail with crochet table linens, white china, sterling flatware and petite wildflower centerpieces.
 
Toasts and laughter unfolded over a multi-course plated dinner and Charleston wedding photographers with Olivia Leigh Photographie caught genuine friendship, family time and connection. Cameras played with glowing evening lighting and artistic shadows in intimate couple shoots across the property’s brick pathways and lush walls of greenery. The party spilled out onto the radiant courtyard enveloped in a tranquil city garden where the celebration flowed into the night.
