Sabrina and Elijah’s July Lowndes Grove wedding was kissed with sunshine and Lowcountry charm. The sweet floral-doused Southern soiree ushered in the brightest summer hues, popping in candied tones of bubblegum pink, canary yellow and tangerine and setting a loving watercolor-meets-wildflower tone against 14 dramatic acres of live oak groves.
 
In traditional Southern style with modern fashion-forward twists, the bride wore a jubilant tiered strapless white gown and white flower crown headband while the groom’s white suit jacket and chic designer bow tie added trending panache. The couple shared vows under the event tent on the grand lawn while the oak-lined banks of the Ashley River lulled nearby.
 
Floral designers with Festoon Charleston curated over-the-top blooms in a fanned fully flourishing multi-hued bridal bouquet offset by simplistic Queen Anne’s lace bridesmaid bunches. Indoor and outdoor spaces radiated in sprawling vibrant floral centerpieces and breathtaking ceremony installations speckled with wildflowers and seasonal blooms in pinks, lilac, orange and sunshine yellow.
 
Celebrated husband-wife wedding photographers from Kailee DiMeglio never missed a shot, recording every tender moment, intimate newlywed nuzzle and ecstatic dance move. The expert team arranged details among the 1786-era architecture and period furnishings, wedding party formals in front of the pristine historic white mansion and a beaming first look on the bluestone brick terrace with tearful bridesmaids and mothers looking on.
 
Guests engaged with a fun selfie backdrop declaring “Kiss Me, You Fool” in neon (also inscribed inside the bride’s gold wedding band) hugged by the waterfront estate’s rich green oaks and palms. Tasteful pink, orange and yellow guest hand fans eased the July heat while the in-house Patrick Properties Hospitality Group catering team satiated thirsts with champagne, Topo Chico and refreshing sparkling drinks followed by seared salmon, braised short rib and shrimp and grit dinner stations.
