Role Overview
We’re seeking a sharp, client‑facing BizDev Associate to identify, reach out to, and secure venue partners for Novela’s platform. You’ll drive top‑of‑funnel activity (prospecting, cold/warm outreach), qualify opportunities, book meetings for the Head of Business Development, and support contracting through close. Success looks like a steady drumbeat of qualified venue conversations and signed partner agreements.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect & Research: Build and maintain a targeted list of venues
- Outreach & Appointment Setting: Run multi‑channel sequences (email, chat, phone) to open doors and book meetings
- HubSpot Pipeline Hygiene: Log activity, notes, and next steps; keep HubSpot and trackers current
- Sales Enablement: Tailor outreach collateral; prepare briefs for the Head of Business Development prior to calls; follow up on action items
- Reporting: Weekly pipeline metrics and insights; propose experiments to improve conversion rates
What You’ll Bring
- Excellent English (spoken & written), confident with executive‑level outreach (English Native preferred)
- 2+ years in Business Development, SDR/BDR, Partnerships, or Account Acquisition, ideally in hospitality, events, SaaS, or marketplaces
- Proven experience booking qualified meetings and moving prospects to later stages
- Comfortable with HubSpot and email sequencing
- Resourceful researcher; crisp note‑taking; bias to action
