Wedding planners from Little Acorn Events orchestrated the late-September Charlottesville wedding, arranging a beautiful ceremony in front of the vineyard’s lavish flowing fountain and a heartfelt sunset reception under the grand hand-stitched Aurora tent. Harpist Virginia Schweninger set the ceremony tone as a tearful groom lovingly watched his fiancé make her way down the aisle.

The bride and groom took time to mingle, drink and hug their favorite people as cocktail hour unfolded on the green carriage house lawn. Harvest Moon Catering impressed with polished service and a plated regionally sourced feast while Sugar on Top Cakes’ three-tiered masterpiece was met with an elaborate dessert buffet of cookies, macaroons, biscotti and chocolate-covered delights.
