Sarah and Christian’s late September wedding was absolutely breathtaking swathed in vintage chic romantic touches and sentimental adoration. Wollam Gardens sang in all its autumn glory, lending flourishing garden scapes, sweet historic 1747 farmhouse nooks and a natural outdoor ceremony space set among a sweeping 11-acre landscape.

Charlottesville wedding planners from Madi Leigh Events orchestrated an unforgettable day, from tender family prep moments in the farmhouse’s upstairs quarters to a style session where the bride, in her lovely flowing vintage gown, did her blindfolded fiancé’s hair. The bride and her parents shared tears in the garden’s hydrangea alley and a jubilant family portrait photo shoot unfolded in front of the flower farm’s perennials backed by giant glowing oak trees.

Photographers with Jasmine Yab Photography marked the day in classic film imagery and digital photography, capturing the rich colors in the bride’s elaborate wildflower bouquet, delicate lace bow on her cream colored heels and rainbow sunbeams circling the couple in a private pre-ceremony embrace. Sarah and Christian carved out special time with the camera, cherishing intimate moments in the gardens and tucked away on the lawn by the greenhouse, kissing under towering trees.

Wollam Gardens floral designers embraced the autumn season, creating a stunningly simple wooded ceremony with native foliage and seasonal blooms. Live organic floral graced boutonnieres, flower crowns and tables and climbed up carved wooden beams in the open-air reception pavilion. Signature Event Rentals set a chic space in cream satin and ivory linens, class crystalware and twinkling strung lighting. Catering by Classic Catering and Anker Mobile Bar Co. delighted guests with a vibrant dessert table, flower-pressed wedding cake, his and hers signature cocktails and a plated dinner as speeches and toasts ensued.
