Mountain Run Winery
Pastoral Winery Charm
With several large barns, abundant indoor and outdoor seating and 36 acres of bucolic bliss, Mountain Run Winery provides a beautiful backdrop for weddings large and small. Mountain Run Winery offers inclusive wedding packages and hosts more than a dozen weddings and bridal showers each year.
Invite guests to enjoy the 125-year-old farm's sprawling acreage surrounded by fields of corn and soybeans and bordered by Mountain Run creek. The quintessential family-operated farm winery is loved for its award-winning wines, warm hospitality and relaxed kid- and dog-friendly atmosphere. Weathered oak walls and deep agricultural history add to the charming aesthetic.
Share your vows on the crest of a hill at the signature Overlook ceremony site where fields and forests paint a scenic canvas. Or opt for the more intimate field setting with a vineyard backdrop and access to the 70-year-old tasting room barn. For an indoor ceremony option, the Old Barn is a rustic repurposed hay barn with a polished concrete floor.
Dinner and dancing happens in the 70-year-old “pull-through” style corn crib and hay barn with views of the vineyard, on the flat and open private field with views of the rolling Virginia hills, or in the rustic 110-year-old stable. Mountain Run also hosts micro-weddings and elopements.
