A Breath of Spring at The Barns at Mattaponi Springs

Spring welcomed Sarah and Tyler to The Barns at Mattaponi Springs for an April wedding, where the fresh green landscape of Central Virginia set the tone for the celebration.

Deep olive green, crisp white, and fresh greenery defined the wedding party's palette. Sarah's bridesmaids wore flowing olive gowns paired with bouquets by Vogue Flowers featuring white ranunculus, garden roses, and trailing greenery, complementing Sarah's lace ball gown. The groomsmen kept the look classic in black tuxedos with white floral and greenery boutonnieres.

The ceremony unfolded inside the restored barn, where expansive wooden doors opened to views of the lake beyond. An arch of white blooms and greenery softened with draped fabric framed Sarah and Tyler as they exchanged vows, while garden inspired floral clusters adorned the wooden cross back chairs lining the aisle. Quince String Quartet provided live music for the ceremony, adding an elegant touch to the intimate setting.

Afterward, the couple made their way across the property's rolling lawns for golden hour portraits, embracing the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside. Tim Wes Photography follows the day with a natural storytelling approach, moving from the quiet ceremony moments to the open landscape and celebration beyond.
