A Charleston Courtyard Romance at Poogan's Courtyard

Carmen and Glenn welcomed spring with an intimate March wedding at Poogan's Courtyard in Charleston, South Carolina. Tucked among the historic character of downtown, the courtyard offered a relaxed setting for a celebration shared closely with family and friends.

Soft blush, ivory, and gold shaped the palette for the day, beginning with Carmen's bouquet of blush roses, white ranunculus, and eucalyptus. On the courtyard's outdoor deck, lush palm fronds and tall urns filled with white hydrangeas, blush garden roses, and trailing greenery framed Carmen and Glenn as they exchanged vows. Cross back chairs lined the intimate aisle, while teal trimmed windows and exposed brick brought the property's historic Charleston character into the setting.

Inside, round tables dressed in ivory linens featured low arrangements of white hydrangeas, garden roses, and flowing greenery in gold compote vases. Amber votives, gold table numbers, and delicate place cards warmed the tables, while Southern inspired dishes included biscuits served tableside alongside wine, craft beer, and specialty cocktails.

Pictured by Paradise Photography followed the celebration through the courtyard and historic downtown setting, ending with Carmen and Glenn stepping onto Charleston's cobblestone streets and waving to family and friends as the evening came to a close.
