A Garden Dream Summer Wedding at Cornerstone Sonoma

Sharmaine and Dominic said “I do” on a sun-drenched August afternoon at Cornerstone Sonoma, embracing the height of summer in the heart of Wine Country.

The expansive garden lawn set the stage for their ceremony, with guests seated beside a glassy reflecting pool that mirrored open blue skies and lush greenery. Sharmaine carried a whimsical bouquet of butter yellow, blush, blue thistle, and delicate white wildflowers, echoing the garden-fresh palette of yellow, lavender, sage, and white. A low, abundant floral installation by Form & Flower framed the altar in white blooms and soft foliage as the couple exchanged vows, accompanied by Bellarosa String Quartet, whose melodies carried beautifully through the warm Sonoma air.

Cocktail hour unfolded beneath the covered pavilion, where a floral laden bar layered lime green hydrangeas, trailing vines, and orchids for a bold, artful statement. Dinner followed at long live edge wood tables styled with dusty blue napkins, gold flatware, and wildflower centerpieces arranged in ceramic vessels. Stone bowls brimming with grapes, figs, and limes added a lush, countryside touch that felt effortlessly Mediterranean. Folktable Catering crafted a seasonal menu that reflected the region’s vibrant flavors.

As dusk settled, the celebration moved into the rustic barn, where strands of warm bistro lights glowed overhead. The couple’s first dance gave way to a lively evening, complete with monogrammed matchbooks, custom cocktail napkins, and an audio guestbook by After The Tone capturing heartfelt messages. Thoughtfully orchestrated by CMG Events, the day was documented with depth and artistry by JBJ Pictures, while Moments by Rebecca captured behind the scenes content that preserved the joy from every angle.
