A Garden-Inspired Spring at The Country Club of Fairfax

Miriam & Alex

May brought Miriam and Alex to The Country Club of Fairfax for a spring wedding surrounded by rolling fairways and manicured grounds. White Dress Black Tie Events brought the day together, beginning with an intimate Jewish ceremony before the celebration shifted into an energetic evening with family and friends.

Lavender, blush, soft orange, and green carried through the floral design by Twinbrook Floral Design, beginning with Miriam's bouquet of white roses, purple lisianthus, calla lilies, and trailing greenery. Beneath a chuppah draped with cascading asparagus fern and white calla lilies, Miriam and Alex exchanged vows with sweeping views of the golf course behind them. The couple stood together wrapped in black and cream striped tallitot, bringing Jewish tradition into the spring setting.

The reception unfolded in the ballroom, where chandeliers cast a warm glow over the dance floor and windows opened the room to views of the surrounding greens. Long and round tables dressed in ivory linens featured allium, ranunculus, tulips, and craspedia, with sage green ribbon accents and taper candles in glass hurricanes completing the setting. Char Bar DC catered the evening, while mini tambourines at each place setting gave guests a playful way to join the celebration.

Phoebe Rohrer Lacey brings the garden setting, colorful details, and energy of the celebration together throughout the gallery. Live music from Washington Talent Agency kept the dance floor moving before Miriam and Alex cut into a cake finished with fresh strawberries. From the calla lily chuppah to tambourines shaking across the dance floor, their traditions carried naturally into a celebration that felt distinctly their own.
