A Loving May Elopement at Prospect Hill Inn

Kaite and Brian’s intimate May elopement at Prospect Hill Inn was the perfect quaint, romantic and special celebration of love. A handful of family members gathered to witness the delicate ceremony under the traditional white wedding gazebo. Prospect Hill Inn set a sweet, subtle enchanted tone among 40 pristine acres, a historic sprawling tree garden canopy, rustic barn backdrops and charming country inn and pasture settings.

Charlottesville wedding photographer Meredith McKown captured the late spring celebration and all of the tender, romantic moments between the couple in a naturally flowing, casual, unhurried day. The late spring celebration moved throughout the private estate with ease and grace, backed by angelic May sunlight and green draping trees. The bride floated through the idyllic scene, stopping to admire her petite white floral bouquet and to embrace her partner in the gardens.

Autumns Custom Catering hosted a slow farm dinner of steak, chicken, whipped potatoes and seasonal vegetables followed by a traditional cake cutting outside under a shaded canopy. The couple savored the historic bed and breakfast and private cottage space, cherishing the quiet peaceful time together.
