Jacqui & Aaron
A Modern Fairytale Wedding with Countryside Garden Touches
Jacqui and Aaron’s autumn Charlottesville wedding delivered top-of-the-world backdrops. The intimate Montalto at Monticello mountaintop ceremony overlooked the city and countryside while the gracious Repose 1908 American Country home transformed into a stately venue festooned in distinctive early American provincial style.
Charlottesville wedding event planner Sarah Elizabeth Schmidt accentuated the groom’s crisp blue suit and emerald tie and bridesmaid’s dresses in ethereal sky blue, tying in Willow Branch Flowers’ free-flowing bouquets of blush and cream roses intermingled with vibrant violet, blue and yellow florals. Charlottesville wedding photographer Anna Kardos Photography brought forth true-to-life colors in sweet October sunset embraces and the bride’s exquisite floating train, glittering gold heels and low-swept goddess hair.
Cocktail hour came together on the landscaped multi-level terrace overlooking the city and mountains with décor by MS Events creating a clean, pretty reception space in white and baby blue. Bread baskets, gourmet farm fresh salads and a coursed dinner by The Local Catering impressed with farm-to-table offerings.
