A Modern Romance in Bloom at Yours Truly DC Hotel

Alyssa and Henry celebrated their March wedding at Yours Truly DC Hotel in the heart of Washington, D.C., with a modern setting and warm details marking the transition from winter into early spring. Black Tie Entertainment coordinated the day, with a palette of blush pink, ivory, and deep berry carried throughout in garden style arrangements of roses, calla lilies, stock, and wax flower.

The ceremony took place inside the hotel's event space, where black pendant lights created a moody, contemporary setting. Family and friends gathered close as Alyssa and Henry exchanged vows and shared their first kiss as newlyweds.

The reception brought a bolder approach to the floral design, with blush and fuchsia cherry blossoms suspended overhead alongside warm paper lanterns. Mercy Me DC served dinner at tables dressed in shimmering silver linens with tall glass vases of calla lilies and baby's breath, while simple bud vases carried the floral palette throughout the space. Black Tie Entertainment shifted from planning to the DJ booth as the evening moved into dancing.
