A Refined Charleston Celebration at The Camden Room

Hannah and Nathan celebrated their October wedding at The Camden Room in Charleston, South Carolina, where the venue’s historic brick walls, timber-beam ceilings, and rich hardwood floors created a setting that felt both rustic and refined. Bathed in warm autumn light, the space offered a classic Charleston backdrop for a celebration filled with warmth and elegance.

The ceremony took place inside the venue’s dramatic hall, where rows of cross-back chairs lined an aisle accented with greenery wreaths and clusters of pillar candles in gold hurricanes. Floor-to-ceiling white drapery layered with cascading greenery by Pretty Petals of Charleston framed the altar, while tall arched windows filled the room with the soft glow of an October afternoon. A palette of crisp white, emerald green, and touches of gold carried beautifully throughout the design.

Florals introduced lush texture across the celebration, from the greenery-draped sweetheart table adorned with white garden roses and gold taper candles to guest tables dressed in white linens and gold-rimmed chargers. Each place setting featured a gold-dipped oyster shell escort card, a thoughtful nod to Charleston’s coastal heritage, while rentals from Curated Events Charleston added polish to the setting.

Brick Lane Catering delivered the evening’s dining experience and Carolina Cocktails kept the bar lively as Darby Events carried the celebration onto the dance floor. Marley Photography brought a natural, true-to-life perspective to the day as the evening closed with a sparkling send-off of shimmering gold tinsel wands.
