A Soft Coastal Romance at The Citadel Beach Club

Acacia and Ryan celebrated their spring wedding in Charleston, South Carolina, with a traditional ceremony followed by a reception at The Citadel Beach Club on Isle of Palms. Duvall Events planned the day, with the coastal setting bringing a relaxed Lowcountry feel to the celebration.

A palette of blush and peach carried through the wedding party, with Acacia carrying peonies, ranunculus, and garden roses alongside bridesmaids in blush satin gowns. Ryan and his groomsmen kept the look classic in black tuxedos, creating a crisp contrast against the softer spring tones.

The celebration moved to The Citadel Beach Club, where guests were welcomed with a champagne toast. Soft blush linens, peach ribbon accents, and garden rose centerpieces carried the palette indoors, while a suspended installation of peach, ivory, and blush florals with trailing greenery hung above the dance floor. Duvall Events served a coastal inspired menu followed by a tiered cake from Sugared Magnolia Charleston.

The Citadel Beach Club's direct beach access gave Acacia and Ryan the chance to step onto the Isle of Palms shoreline for portraits. Taylor Gaddy Photography brings a light, relaxed quality to the imagery, while Ever June Films carries the energy of the day into film. Back inside, DJs of Charleston kept the dance floor going before family and friends gathered for a sparkler send off.
