A Study in Romance and Restraint at Crows Peak Ranch

Danielle & Alec
Danielle and Alec celebrated their wedding on an October day at Crows Peak Ranch, where the rugged beauty of Northern California’s mountain landscape set an unforgettable stage. Dense evergreen forests and rolling terrain surrounded the celebration, grounding the day in a sense of quiet drama and natural elegance.
The ceremony unfolded on a wooden platform overlooking the forest canopy, with soft wood chips underfoot adding an organic texture to the mountainside setting. The moment felt intimate and expansive all at once, framed by uninterrupted views of towering trees and open sky.
A restrained floral palette of white and green carried through the design, with baby’s breath, white roses, and eucalyptus arranged in soft, organic compositions. The florals appeared throughout the space, from bouquets to table arrangements, enhancing the surroundings without competing with the landscape.
The reception embraced a minimalist warmth. String lights cast a soft glow across the wooden interior, creating an inviting atmosphere for dining and dancing. A mobile bar by The Drunk Pony introduced a playful, contemporary touch, while music by Runaway DJ carried the energy into the evening. Thoughtful coordination by Cassie Baddeley allowed the day to unfold with ease, while Ashley Sholin Photography preserved the celebration with an editorial, emotive eye.
Set against the forests of Cazadero, Danielle and Alec’s wedding was a refined balance of romance and restraint, where natural beauty and personal style came together in effortless harmony.
