Kate & Carl
Set within Healdsburg’s lush late-summer landscape, Kate and Carl’s wedding unfolded at The Madrona as a celebration that felt at once artful and deeply personal. Guided seamlessly by COJ Events, the day embraced a soft, romantic palette of blush and coral tones that echoed the surrounding gardens. Marigold designed wildflower-inspired florals that felt effortlessly organic, with pink coneflowers, wispy grasses, and soft white blooms arranged as if gathered from the grounds themselves, framing both the ceremony and reception with natural elegance.
As the celebration moved into the covered pavilion, the space transformed into an intimate dining setting layered with texture and warmth. Woven rattan chairs from Encore Events Rentals paired beautifully with crisp white linens and candlelight, while suspended greenery installations added movement and softness overhead, offering glimpses of the landscape beyond. The Madrona’s in-house culinary team elevated the experience with artful canapés, including miniature tomato tartlets that brought color and freshness to the table. Melissa Atle framed the day with a quietly romantic perspective, highlighting fleeting glances and thoughtful details, while Direct Light Studios preserved the atmosphere and energy as daylight gave way to evening.
As twinkling lights and candles illuminated the pavilion, the celebration settled into a rhythm of laughter, connection, and quiet romance. Kate and Carl’s wedding felt like a natural extension of its setting—elegant yet unforced, beautifully designed, and filled with moments meant to linger long after the last toast.
