Meg & Scott
In November, Meg and Scott celebrated their joyful union at the picturesque Castle Hill Cider in Keswick, Virginia. With the vibrant autumn landscape as their backdrop, the couple exchanged heartfelt vows beneath majestic oak trees. The ceremony space, thoughtfully styled by Donovan-Groves Events, featured a rustic birch branch altar adorned with white delphiniums, cream roses, burgundy accents, and natural greenery by Steelcut Flower Co. Wooden farm chairs dotted the rolling countryside, creating a romantic pastoral setting bathed in golden fall light.
Meg wore an elegant lace wedding gown, while Scott looked timeless in a classic tuxedo. The bridal party’s jewel-toned dresses added richness to the overall look, perfectly complementing the venue's rustic yet refined charm. Hunter & Sarah Photography followed the couple through every quiet exchange and joyful celebration, capturing the intimacy of their ceremony and the warmth of their reception.
As the celebration continued into the barn, guests were welcomed by a cozy reception space lit with warm bistro lights. Dark wood tables were set with navy napkins, gold chargers, and tall glass candles, while hanging floral installations—featuring burgundy dahlias, white roses, and cascading greenery—brought the space to life. A menu curated by Harvest Moon Catering featured seasonal favorites and thoughtfully presented hors d’oeuvres.
The couple’s multi-tiered wedding cake by Cakes By Rachel stood as a stunning centerpiece, with hand-crafted sugar roses and delicate gold leaf detailing. As the evening unfolded, Maryland’s DJ filled the space with music, guiding the couple and their guests through a lively, joy-filled celebration.
