Hannah and Jamie said their “I do” on a radiant May afternoon at Historic Tuckahoe in Richmond, Virginia, where lush gardens and centuries-old trees transformed the estate into a botanical dreamscape. Under the planning and design expertise of For Love of Love, every detail reflected refined romance and the effortless beauty of Virginia’s countryside.

The ceremony unfolded beneath a floral arch designed by Monarch Flower Farm, woven with climbing roses and greenery, framed by bentwood chairs in soft terracotta tones. Crepe myrtle trees formed a natural canopy as classical melodies from Ibis Music Group floated through the air, lending an elegant rhythm to the moment.

Beneath an elegant white tent, the reception glowed with woven rattan pendants casting warm light over long farmhouse tables and wooden chairs. A peach-and-white checkered dance floor added playful contrast to the garden setting. The evening’s culinary artistry was a collaboration between The Commonwealth Club and Heirloom DC, who curated interactive food stations featuring gourmet tacos, delicate dim sum, and colorful desserts—each plate a blend of creativity and flavor. Rentals from Rent E-QuipPaisley & JadeStradley Davidson Linen Collective, and Nuage Designs completed the look with layered textures and refined detail.

As twilight descended, the live band filled the air with music that drew guests to the dance floor. Brett Denfeld Photography documented the celebration with an artful balance of light and emotion, capturing the day’s natural beauty and joyful spirit in timeless imagery. Hannah and Jamie’s wedding at Historic Tuckahoe was a seamless harmony of design, nature, and love—a celebration as radiant and enduring as the spring landscape that surrounded them.
