Ashelee & Mike
In September, Ashelee and Mike exchanged heartfelt vows in an intimate and radiant wedding celebration at The Clifton in Charlottesville, Virginia. With every detail thoughtfully curated, their day unfolded like a romantic reverie—elegant, natural, and entirely unforgettable.
The ceremony took place in The Clifton’s garden pavilion, where an exquisite floral arch by Steelcut Flower Co. framed the couple as they said “I do.” Pristine white chairs lined the weathered wooden floor, while ivory roses, cream hydrangeas, and verdant mums anchored the aisle in lush symmetry. Delicate blue ribbons and hand-calligraphed “Reserved” signs added personal touches to the crisp white palette. Guests were enveloped in the gentle fragrance of jasmine and trailing greenery. Towering floral installations swayed in the breeze, creating a botanical sanctuary suspended between earth and sky.
The celebration continued beneath The Clifton’s stunning tented pavilion, where coastal refinement met garden charm. Kennon Stout Ibbeken brought the couple’s vision to life with rustic wooden farm tables dressed in soft ivory linens and hand-painted ceramic accents that added subtle Mediterranean flair. Delicate blooms—white cosmos, ranunculus, and powder-blue delphinium—rested in vintage glass vessels alongside flickering candles, setting an effortlessly romantic tone. Overhead, suspended greenery and twinkling bistro lights transformed the tent into a living garden. Guests dined, laughed, and danced as The Soul Psychedelique Orchestra filled the evening with soulful music and celebration.
An elegant three-tiered cake by Cakes By Rachel, adorned with fresh blooms, served as the evening’s sweet finale. Throughout it all, Hunter & Sarah Photography documented the day with graceful precision, capturing the emotion, the light, and the quiet moments that made this wedding so unforgettable.
As twilight fell over the Virginia countryside, Ashelee and Mike’s celebration came to a close—full of joy, beauty, and the promise of a love that will last a lifetime.
