Jessica & Christopher
Jessica and Christopher celebrated their April wedding at River Farm, where blooming gardens and sweeping Potomac views created a setting that felt vibrant, romantic, and unmistakably spring. With tulips in full bloom and soft light carrying across the grounds, the celebration unfolded with an effortless sense of joy and color, thoughtfully guided by Birch Management.
The ceremony took place on the open lawn overlooking the river, where Jessica made her entrance in a floral appliqué gown with puff sleeves and a flowing cathedral veil that moved beautifully in the spring breeze. After exchanging vows, the couple wandered through River Farm’s garden paths and blooming grounds, embracing the natural beauty woven throughout the venue. Sarah Schmidt Photography and Bowen Films leaned into the softness and color of the season, preserving the celebration with a romantic, natural perspective.
The reception unfolded beneath a white tent beside the manor house, framed by rows of tulips and lush formal gardens in shades of coral, pink, orange, lavender, and cream. Inside, cross back chairs, crisp linens, and glowing string lights created a warm and inviting atmosphere, while floral design by Floret & Vine brought overflowing arrangements of peonies, roses, ranunculus, daisies, and delphinium into every corner of the space. Catering by Main Event Caterers carried the evening seamlessly.
As the evening continued, music by Bela Sono kept the dance floor full beneath the tent before guests gathered outside for a glowing send off with fairy light wands. The result was a wedding that felt colorful, joyful, and deeply connected to the beauty of spring along the Potomac.
