Boldly Modern, Deeply Romantic at Hidden Oaks

Monica and Jordan celebrated their August wedding at Hidden Oaks in North Chesterfield, Virginia, surrounded by lush greenery and the quiet beauty of late summer. The wooded setting offered a naturally romantic backdrop, where tall trees formed a cathedral-like canopy and soft light filtered gently through the leaves. Their design embraced a bold palette of deep forest green, crisp white, and classic black. White roses, hydrangeas, and trailing greenery framed the outdoor ceremony, creating a striking focal point against the natural landscape.

Inside the glass-enclosed pavilion, panoramic woodland views set the tone for an elegant evening. Suspended fairy lights and a grand chandelier cast a warm glow over round tables dressed in crisp white linens and paired with black chairs. Dark green scalloped plates, sleek black flatware, and custom menus printed on rich green cardstock added a refined, personal touch. Elevated arrangements of white roses and greenery brought height and softness to the space, while rows of champagne flutes awaited a celebratory toast. A mobile catering trailer offered refreshments, adding a relaxed yet curated element to the celebration.

Playful details reflected the couple’s personality, from a volleyball themed guest book to a marble effect cake that balanced modern design with classic style. The night ended in unforgettable fashion as Monica and Jordan rode off on motorcycles through a sparkling tunnel of guests, a joyful and adventurous close to a day defined by love, style, and celebration.
