Classic by Day, Electric by Night at Mankin Mansion

Amber and Jalen celebrated their wedding at Mankin Mansion in Richmond, Virginia, surrounded by the historic estate and its garden setting. Kat from the Mankin Mansion team planned the day, with warm champagne and soft ivory setting the palette for a celebration that balanced classic details with a lively, relaxed energy.

The ceremony took place on the Mansion's brick terrace, surrounded by manicured boxwood hedges and mature trees. A white draped arbor framed by blooming azaleas anchored the setting, where Amber and Jalen exchanged vows before sharing their first kiss to cheers from family and friends.

Cocktail hour unfolded across the Mansion's lawns, where vintage lounge seating in blush and mustard velvet brought a retro touch to the garden setting. A styled drink cart served citrus margaritas, Negronis, and espresso martinis beneath market lights before guests moved into the pavilion and ballroom. Gold Chiavari chairs, candlelight, and delicate baby's breath garlands dressed the tables, while a three tier naked cake finished with cascading pearls, baby's breath, and a nod to the couple's dog added a personal touch.

Brittany Stowe Photo and Ryan Feister Films followed the celebration from the gardens into an evening that quickly picked up pace. The Masters of the Ceremony filled the dance floor as glow sticks and confetti cannons came out. Guests later lined the gardens with sparklers for Amber and Jalen's exit, just before fireworks lit the sky above the estate.
