Jillian and AJ’s Charlottesville wedding at King Family Vineyards was steeped in June beauty and Southern summertime tradition. Renowned Charlottesville wedding planner Karissa Coffey curated the celebration with graceful hospitality.
 
Ice tea, lemonade and yard games welcomed guests to the ceremony lawn. Soft feather gray three-piece suits, powder blue bridal gowns, country lanterns draped in colorful florals and mini Tabasco sauce guest favors added to the farmstead charm. The family farm and state-of-the-art polo facility set a sundrenched scene for the evening ceremony. Windmills, horses, a beautiful equestrian barn and a custom half-moon arch provided the bucolic backdrop under blue skies and puffy marshmallow clouds.

Expertly trained lenses caught a single tear during vows, a gentle hand on a bridesmaid’s back, the ring bearer’s tiny pillow, details in diamonds and pearls and a teary-eyed father-daughter first look. Charlottesville wedding floral designer Weddings by Vogue called on natural summer garden blooms in blush, blue and peach hues while décor from MS Events adorned the captivating carriage house reception in classic white and baby blue linens, silver flatware and crystal stemware. Simple lush greenery and soft candlelight juxtaposed towering statement vase ivory florals.
 
L'Etoile Catering built course after course around fresh seasonal ingredients in strawberry arugula salads, homemade breads, local beef and garden vegetables. Flanked by fresh baked peach pecan and whisky chocolate chip pies, a gorgeous white three-tier wedding cake encircled with fresh berries flecked in gold continued the summer harvest theme.
 
All generations graced the granary oak dance floor, sharing laughs and sing-alongs and the night ended with the most tender intimate couples dance while guests prepared a sparkler send-off under the stars.
