Dressed for Autumn at Poplar Hill

Late autumn welcomed Cassie and Patrick to Poplar Hill in Blackstone, Virginia, for a November wedding surrounded by open lawns and manicured gardens.

A palette of sunny yellow, warm orange, crisp white, and greenery reflected the colors of the season. Garlands of greenery and blooms framed the ceremony, while wine barrels topped with lanterns and floral arrangements accented the space. Cassie carried a bouquet of orange roses, sunflowers, and greenery, complementing the surrounding fall foliage and orange berries.

As evening settled in, the celebration moved into the barn, where flowing white fabric, cascading greenery, and delicate white blooms softened the space. String lights lined the pavilion, while a tiered chandelier hung above the dance floor. Guest tables paired white linens and sage green napkins with gold flatware, sunflowers, orange roses, and hand knitted pumpkins. A green wall and heart shaped wreath framed the sweetheart table, while Taa Daa The Bakery carried the autumn details into the dessert display with a buttercream cake and fall themed cupcakes.
