Genuine Moments and Southern Warmth at Pepper Pavilion

Mackenzie & John
Mackenzie and John celebrated their love on a late summer day at Pepper Pavilion in Charleston, South Carolina, where the waterfront setting and surrounding woodlands created an atmosphere rich with Southern warmth. The celebration felt intimate and genuine, blending rustic elegance with effortless charm.
A palette of soft sage and crisp white carried through the design, perfectly complementing the natural landscape. Delicate arrangements of baby’s breath and white roses added a light, romantic touch, enhancing the setting without overwhelming it.
The ceremony took place on the lawn, where chairs were arranged beneath towering trees and dappled sunlight filtered through the canopy. The lake served as a serene backdrop as the couple shared deeply emotional moments, from a heartfelt first look to vows that left few dry eyes.
Inside the pavilion, the reception unfolded beneath twinkling string lights and a striking crystal chandelier, softening the rustic structure and setting a magical tone. Guests gathered around a dessert table filled with cupcakes and sweet treats, adding a playful note to the evening. As the celebration continued, the dance floor filled with energy, light-up props, and unrestrained joy.
Seamless catering by Swig & Swine anchored the evening, complemented by bar service from Two Pour Girls. Throughout the day, Marina Mauletkali Photography preserved the emotion and warmth with editorial eye, alongside cinematic coverage by Lauren Taylor Visuals.
Mackenzie and John’s wedding was a heartfelt reflection of their relationship, warm, sincere, and filled with joy, set against one of Charleston’s most charming waterfront settings.
