Glowing Autumn Bliss at Hotel Bennett

Rebecca and Marek’s November wedding beamed with autumn splendor and charming southern style at Charleston’s elegant Hotel Bennett. A three-piece string ensemble and flutes of champagne and berries welcomed guests to a sunny intimate ceremony on the third-story open-air Piazza where the couple shared tearful vows wrapped in sweeping autumnal Marion Square and King Street views.

Charleston wedding photographers with Laura & Rachel Photography took full advantage of the season with outdoor shoots under red, orange and yellow leaves back-dropped by the hotel’s immaculate entryway and surrounding brick pathways. A tender couple shoot unfolded on the hotel’s grand marble staircase under glinting gold chandelier lighting, looking in from the outside of the property’s elevator on a cozy moment and surrounded by the expansive Charleston city skyline from the hotel’s rooftop. The mother-daughter photography team captured every detail, from the bride’s jeweled strappy heels to the groom’s white tuxedo jacket and first-look happy tears.

Charleston floral artists with Branch Design Studio set a gorgeous tone through pure white and ivory bouquets and luxurious ceremony installations perched on glass stands in soft, sweet shades of lilac, pink, ivory and apricot. Bridesmaids wore a creamy shade of sand and groomsmen brought modern flair in rich steel gray suits. The light-filled reception space greeted guests with bold, clean Southern design, crisp white linens, soft high-back seating, sterling flatware and classic crystal stemware. The acclaimed in-house catering team made an impression with high-touch hospitality over a seated multi-course dinner of she-crab soup, local greens salad with Creole mustard vinaigrette and tenderloin filets. Guests took home bags of Charleston cinnamon sugar pecans and savored rich buttercream wedding cake.
