Golden Light and Lasting Grace at Highlands Estate

Kelly & Michael

In the heart of Cloverdale’s rolling wine country, Kelly and Michael celebrated their wedding at Highlands Estate on a golden late spring afternoon. Panoramic views of surrounding hills and vineyards set an enchanting tone, with warm sunlight casting a gentle glow across the landscape and lending intimacy to the celebration.

The design centered on a rich palette of warm orange, soft white, and deep terracotta, reflected throughout the bridesmaid dresses and floral arrangements during the ceremony at The Arbor. That warmth carried seamlessly into the reception in the Four Seasons Barn, where wooden tables dressed in crisp white linens were topped with lush centerpieces echoing the ceremony florals. Candlelight and overhead string lights created a romantic evening atmosphere, while a deeply personal detail stood out when Kelly herself made the wedding cake, finished with her groom’s parents’ cake topper as a sweet nod to family.

As the sun dipped behind the Sonoma hills, Kelly and Michael’s wedding felt grounded in love, family, and the quiet beauty of the countryside. Thoughtfully planned and designed by Denise Collins Weddings & Design, the day was documented with warmth and sensitivity by Shannon Hillyard Photography. Guests enjoyed a thoughtfully prepared meal by Sonoma County Catering, while beauty looks by Pedro Sánchez and Niki Filippi Hair completed the day with effortless elegance.

Kelly and Michael’s celebration was a graceful reflection of their connection, brought to life through intentional design and the timeless beauty of wine country.
