Industrial Elegance at Torpedo Factory Art Center

Laura & Amit
Laura and Amit celebrated their wedding at Torpedo Factory Art Center, where a fall setting and layered design brought together Western elegance and South Asian tradition in a celebration that felt vibrant, expressive, and full of life.
The ceremony unfolded in the venue’s expansive main hall, where soaring ceilings, exposed columns, and a sweeping spiral staircase created a striking architectural backdrop. Draped fabric and a garland of white roses and greenery by Bell Flowers framed the altar, setting the stage for a ceremony that blended meaningful traditions with a refined, modern aesthetic. Megan Rei Photography leans into the movement and color of the day, bringing forward both the energy of the celebration and the quiet in between moments.
The design carried a bold yet balanced palette, where red roses and white hydrangeas created contrast across bouquets, garlands, and centerpieces. Reception tables were styled with white linens, navy accents, gold beaded chargers, and candlelight, bringing a polished softness to the industrial setting. Catering by Catering By Uptown carried the evening with a seamless dining experience, while the wedding party added another layer of color and texture in lehengas, sarees, and kurtas in rich jewel tones.
As the evening unfolded, the main hall transformed into a lively celebration space, where the couple’s first dance gave way to a high energy dance floor. The night built into a vibrant Bollywood celebration, with music, color, and movement filling the space. The result was a wedding that felt dynamic, joyful, and deeply personal, a beautiful reflection of two cultures coming together in celebration.
