Industrial Elegance Meets Spring Romance at The Wool Factory

Harriet & Jared
In the heart of Charlottesville, Virginia, Harriet and Jared exchanged vows on a joyful spring day. Their ceremony took place at St. Paul’s Memorial Church, where Harriet, radiant in a sleek, lace-detailed gown, carried a bouquet brimming with anemones, garden roses, and silvery eucalyptus. Jared, in a sharply tailored navy suit, stood beaming at her side—his expression full of warmth and anticipation.
The celebration continued at The Wool Factory, where industrial elegance set the tone for a reception that blended romance and sophistication. Beneath a canopy of twinkling bistro lights, guests were welcomed into a space framed by exposed brick walls and soaring windows. Cross-back chairs in warm wood tones surrounded tables dressed with ivory roses, soft blue hydrangeas, and airy scabiosa blooms, artfully arranged by VC’s Flowers. Gold flatware and spring light filtering through the windows added a soft gleam to the scene.
The evening unfolded with a generous spread of hors d’oeuvres, heartfelt toasts, and the joyful hum of conversation. A three-tiered buttercream cake by Commonwealth Cake Company, adorned with cascading fresh florals, served as both centerpiece and sweet finale. As Harriet and Jared shared their first dance, surrounded by loved ones, the space felt alive with emotion and celebration.
With planning by CCS Events, rentals by MS Events, and catering by The Wool Factory itself, every element felt thoughtfully composed. Behind the lens, Sarah Cramer Shields and Jeffrey C. Gleason brought an artful sensibility to the day—balancing quiet candids with evocative compositions that mirrored the celebration’s warmth and charm.
