Joyful Love and Pastoral Charm at Early Mountain Vineyards

Sarah and Jesse’s September wedding was a simple, tasteful celebration embraced by loving friends and family and sprinkled with cultural tradition. Charlottesville floral designers and wedding planners with Brousseau Events met the clean white palette and classic wine country charm with shades of dusty rose, deep indigo and slate gray.

Early Mountain Vineyards stunned in countryside romance with a petal-doused grand ceremony lawn, native grasses, limelight hydrangeas and hints of an awe-inspiring early fall. The couple invited cheers and celebration throughout the day, sharing a first look outside of their guest cottage with the wedding party, donning playful photo booth props and adding adorable touches in the bride’s white dancing sneakers.

Photographers from La Vie en Rose transposed rich, intentional storytelling into photos to be cherished for generations. A natural film lens captured the day’s joy-filled moments, from the choreographed wedding party entrance dance to the farewell sparkler sendoff. Guests mingled over cocktail hour in the winery’s tasting room among dramatic fireplaces and plush lounge seating before shifting into the grandiose event hall for dinner and dancing. Wine barrels, white linens, gold place settings and rose details set the soft, welcoming tone. The in-house catering team served refreshing his and hers signature cocktails — a mango mule and palomas — along with a multi-course dinner of seasonal and locally sourced dishes followed by an elaborate dessert offering of traditional rice cakes, gourmet cupcakes, macaroons, madelines and banana pudding.
