Moody Candlelight Elegance at Fathom Gallery 14th Street

Ally and Chris celebrated their love in unforgettable autumn style at Fathom Gallery 14th Street, where glowing candlelight, art-filled interiors, and lush seasonal florals created a celebration that felt intimate, romantic, and unmistakably Washington. Set against the warmth of October, the wedding blended the gallery’s industrial character with soft, garden-inspired design in a way that felt elevated yet deeply personal.

The ceremony unfolded in the venue’s secluded courtyard beneath an arched brick alcove layered with white ranunculus, garden roses, and cascading greenery. Floral design by Yarrow Floral Co carried a rich palette of burnt orange, peach, blush, ivory, and green throughout the celebration, from lush floral installations to candlelit reception tables layered with delicate bud vases and taper candles. Rachel V King Photography approached the day with a refined, documentary-driven perspective, while second shooter Rachel Schrock Photography helped preserve the intimate moments woven throughout the celebration.

Inside the gallery, long banquet tables, walnut chiavari chairs, framed artwork, and warm candlelight transformed the white-walled space into an inviting dinner setting. B.Lin Catering carried the evening with a seasonal menu and signature cocktails, while Rachel Kendall Events shaped the celebration with an effortless balance of warmth, creativity, and understated elegance.
