Cassie and Sam’s June wedding at Eastwood Farm & Winery welcomed friends and family to nooked away farmland seclusion wrapped in vibrant green forested beauty. The peaceful mountaintop ceremony radiated in glowing late-spring warmth, offering sweeping vistas of the picturesque Carters Mountain Range and the 77-acre family-operated farm’s magical meadows and thick orchards.

Bridesmaids wore a deep pine green and carried delicate bouquets of wildflowers and roses in sweet pea pink, soft canary and gentle violet. Floral designers with Hedge Fine Blooms draped the simple ceremony arch and reception tables with matching romantic blooms, adding to the bucolic meadowed aesthetic. 

The coveted planning team from All the Dainty Details perfected modern romance through thoughtful personalized touches. Guests left rotary phone messages for the newlyweds, browsed antique photos of the couple’s ancestors on their wedding days and took home monogrammed bags of local coffee beans. Calling in Eastwood Farm’s rolling hills, lush meadows and raspberry vines, Charlottesville wedding photographer Jill Meriwether captured a touching first look and intimate private pre-ceremony vows. Wedding party and couple photos were framed in canopies of sunlit trees and the three-bedroom brick winery cottage made for gorgeous getting ready photos.

Linens and decor by MS Events set a relaxed, welcoming tone and the culinary pros from Flavor Exceptional Catering revealed a fresh, regionally sourced menu of Mediterranean-inspired chicken, stuffed portobellos, crispy fingerling potatoes, a summer vegetable platter, house salad with marinated heirlooms and naan with roasted red pepper hummus.
