October Persimmon and Auburn at Early Mountain Vineyards

Wendy and Jesse’s late October Charlottesville wedding conjured bold autumn colors and rustic harvest flair. Early Mountain Vineyards delighted with its crisp fall landscape of endless trees wearing auburn and gold. Whimsical wine country vibes met chic polished style in the bride’s strikingly glamorous long-sleeve lace gown and cascading veil and the groom’s gentle gray suit and burgundy tie.

Charlottesville wedding planner Caitie Hanrahan composed the outdoor evening ceremony on the gorgeously manicured great lawn overlooking historic barns and stunning native grasses. The couple shared sunset vows embraced by a magnificent half-moon floral arch by Wander + Whimsy comprised of earthy blooms and rustic foliage in a warm fall color palette of deep ruby red, emerald and blush.

Renowned wedding photographer Nikki Santerre Photography showcased her fine art talents, capturing every intentional wedding day detail. The bride beamed in breezy trees with rolling pastures and equestrian fields fanning behind her. Nikki’s lens caught sweet couple embraces, private pre-ceremony moments and the bride’s parents walking her arm in arm down the aisle.

Expert décor teams with BBJ Rentals and Something Vintage Rentals + Design created welcoming outdoor lounge spaces complete with fire pits. Unique potted plants containing scrolls guided guests to their tables and the grandiose event hall greeted reception guests with country plaid and lush green linens, teak wood tableware and vintage gold-tinted glassware under Prescott lanterns and a warm fireplace glow. Pears and apples accented wildflower centerpieces for a bountiful touch while Early Mountain Vineyards Catering curated a fabulous seasonal, locally sourced menu paired with the estate’s award-winning wines.
