In the heart of North Charleston, Guadalupe and Alex celebrated their November wedding with a vibrant, culturally rich celebration at The Porter Room. Infused with Southern charm and a deep connection to Mexican heritage, the day was a seamless blend of tradition, elegance, and joy.
Beneath a canopy of ancient live oaks draped in Spanish moss, the ceremony unfolded with rustic-chic sophistication. Alex looked dashing in a tailored black tuxedo and classic cream Panama hat, complemented by an ivory ranunculus boutonniere. Guadalupe stunned in a sleek satin gown with a Chantilly lace overlay, her veil edged in delicate scalloped trim. Her bouquet, a cascade of garden roses and baby's breath, added a timeless softness to the golden hour glow.
Guests were seated on white chairs arranged beneath the oaks for an intimate ceremony, followed by a lively reception inside the industrial-chic Porter Room. Exposed brick walls, soaring windows, and warm ambient lighting created an inviting setting, while crisp white linens and terracotta napkins added a thoughtful pop of color. Floral arrangements by Petal Studio Events brought elegance, and rentals from EventWorks added the perfect finishing touch.
The celebration came alive with festive traditions, from craft cocktails to a late-night bite from Gorditas Locas, serving authentic Mexican cuisine. Music by Sotos Entertainment kept the energy high as guests danced and celebrated with the couple. The night ended with a joyful sparkler send off as family and friends cheered Guadalupe and Alex into the next chapter of their love story.
