Kelly and Kelvin’s romantic July wedding was set in delicate blue and ivory blooms wrapped in deep green leafing. The loving mid-summer scene was met with Veritas Vineyard’s signature family hospitality as the couple shared laughter and embraces under grand oak trees with vibrant summer vineyard backdrops.
 
Dramatic clouds rolled in from the valley floor while a string quartet welcomed guests down the manicured aisle. Charlottesville wedding photographers from Gideon Photography tastefully posed the couple in lush green trees and ferns flanked by miles of mountain silhouettes. Photographers orchestrated a pre-wedding shoot on top of Bold Mountain, producing imagery doused in sweeping views of the Rockfish Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains.
 
Charlottesville wedding planner Donovan-Groves Events ushered guests from the al fresco ceremony to the sparkling Saddleback Hall grand ballroom for a cocktail hour of gourmet charcuterie and his and hers signature cocktails — a vodka martini and classic old fashioneds — before witnessing the moving father-daughter dance that brought the groom to tears.
 
Southern Blooms created a custom floral archway in full summer ivory and blue blooms along with dazzling flower-draped chandeliers and a reception space mantle piece sprinkled with garden-plucked table vases. Charlottesville wedding rentals and décor by MS Events and Paisley & Jade provided welcoming lounge spaces with plush seating, abundant pillows and flowing drapery. Lilac-hued lighting and silver iron chairs set against gorgeous cornflower florals and marble print linens made for a modern romantic aesthetic.
 
The celebrated Veritas Vineyard Catering team designed a fresh regionally sourced menu, serving a four-tier textured and floral-laced wedding cake from Cakes by Rachel for dessert. Broadsound’s beats brought every generation to the dance floor for righteous moves and laughter.
