Inside the Athenaeum’s light-filled main hall, a palette of blush pink, lavender, dusty mauve, peach, ivory, and rich garden green transformed the space into a romantic setting softened by floor-to-ceiling ivory draping and warm hardwood floors. The Capital Flower Fairy brought the vision to life through abundant arrangements of garden roses, ranunculus, sweet peas, anemones, tulips, delphinium, scabiosa, and cascading greenery surrounding a custom paneled backdrop with an elegant monogram. The bridal styling featured an off-the-shoulder floral appliqué gown, embroidered veil, and a garden-inspired bouquet of ranunculus, anemones, sweet peas, delphinium, and seasonal blooms, complemented by soft, romantic beauty styling from Isabella Vabre Beauty. Darllane captured each thoughtfully layered detail with an editorial perspective, balancing the venue’s timeless architecture with the artistry of the design.

The reception concept embraced layered textures and elevated styling, where dusty rose velvet chairs surrounded a long banquet table dressed with forest green chargers, smoky glassware, rose gold flatware, floral print linens, and glowing taper candles. A lush floral runner spilling onto the floor created a dramatic focal point, while a sculptural four-tier wedding cake by Sweet Elevations and a thoughtfully styled cocktail bar completed the editorial with modern sophistication.
