Understated Romance at Blossom Ridge Farm

Arlette and Lucas celebrated their May wedding at Blossom Ridge Farm in Ruckersville, Virginia, with rolling pastures and the Blue Ridge foothills stretching beyond the property. Sarah Collins Events coordinated the spring celebration against the relaxed countryside setting.

The ceremony took place in the farm's open meadow, where Arlette wore a lace and crepe gown finished with a cathedral length lace edged veil. Lucas kept the look classic in a black tuxedo, bow tie, and white rose boutonniere.

Wood beams and oversized windows framed the reception, where white linens, black napkins, and single ivory roses in glass bud vases kept the tables understated. Dozens of candles in glass hurricanes surrounded the sweetheart table after dark, while a raspberry topped naked cake and personalized tiramisu favors completed the dessert spread.
