Urban Glam in Emerald and Black at The Wool Factory

Catherine and Khalil’s spring Charlottesville wedding was steeped in industrial charm and lavish greenery. Hannah Rose Events brought the indoor-meets-outdoor aesthetic to life within The Wool Factory’s main event hall, private dining spaces and expansive courtyard.

Designers from Hedge Fine Blooms created extensive fine art floral arrangements using ivory and blush peonies and roses and gorgeous native leafing. The bride’s sheer-long-sleeved wedding gown wowed with intricate floral overlay and shimmering jeweled heels, which she traded for glittery dancing sneakers and a handcrafted crown of emerald leaves for the reception.

The groom’s deep emerald tux and vibrant smile and bridal party’s black sparkling gowns and green heels elevated the chic cosmopolitan feel while abundant ivory candles laced with rich foliage and tall verdant ceremony statement pieces brought the 19th century textile mill to life.

Charlottesville wedding photographer Sera Petras snapped joyous getting ready moments, a groomsmen brandy toast, an emotional first look under a moody May sky, shared laughs among family toasts and rocking dance floor moves illuminated by glow sticks and endless laughter. The Wool Factory catering team impressed guests with a multi-course seated dinner and MS Events transcended the forest green and emerald tones in luxe linens alongside gold flatware and crystal stemware.
