Vivid October Elation at Lovingston Winery

Dan and Lauren’s late-October wedding ushered in luminous autumn magic at Lovingston Winery. The couple stunned in flowing white fairytale gowns, a striking contrast against the private vineyard’s crisp fall landscape. Rustic romantic shades of beige sand, dusty rose and soft ivory carried throughout the estate in thoughtful florals and dried October foliage.

Charlottesville wedding planners with Mahogany Hill Weddings orchestrated an artistically framed first look outside of the historic 1906 farmhouse and onto the spacious garden patio. Guests flowed past the fall-doused wine barrels to find a seat under centuries-old oak trees as the intimate ceremony brought smiles and tears and the couple shared their vows wrapped in Virginia countryside beauty.

Photographers with Amber Mae Photography played with sunbeams and glowing autumn gold and burnt orange leaves under a soft blue sky, backed by 12 acres of vineyard rows. Tender getting ready moments took place in the family-run farm’s bridal suite and an evening cocktail hour buzzed on the expansive lawn with lighting draped from tree to tree. Photographers captured private sneak-away embraces among the property’s gorgeous vineyard rows, rolling hillsides beckoning beyond and fallen leaves crunching below.

Caterers from Early Katering Company set up a delicious sweet treats table display and served dinner in the reception tent. Following dinner, toasts, cake and lots of laughter, the couple delighted in a glowing sparkler sendoff under the stars.
