Vivid Summer Grandeur at George Washington Masonic National Memorial

Paige & Cam
Paige and Cam’s love story unfolded in vivid summer color at George Washington Masonic National Memorial, where soaring neoclassical architecture and exuberant florals created a celebration that felt grand, joyful, and completely unforgettable. Set within one of the Washington, D.C. area’s most iconic landmarks, the day balanced historic grandeur with a playful, high energy atmosphere that carried from ceremony through reception, with Havard Events & Design shaping the celebration with bold color and refined detail.
The ceremony took place inside the Memorial’s dramatic auditorium, where royal blue velvet curtains framed overflowing floral installations in shades of coral, orange, pink, yellow, and blue. Paige carried a vibrant bouquet layered with roses, ranunculus, and delphinium that mirrored the bold palette woven throughout the day. Floral design by The Rosy Posy brought warmth and movement into the monumental setting, layering the space with lush summer color. Brigitte Renee Photography approaches the celebration with a bright, expressive perspective that highlights both the scale of the architecture and the joyful energy woven throughout the day.
Cocktail hour moved into the Memorial’s soaring rotunda foyer beneath granite columns and the iconic bronze statue of George Washington. Watercolor patterned linens, coral accents, candlelight, and fresh florals softened the monumental architecture while guests gathered for cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres beneath the dramatic domed interior.
The reception unfolded inside the grand hall, where towering Corinthian columns and painted ceiling murals created a breathtaking backdrop for dinner and dancing. Tables layered with blue patterned linens, candlelight, and towering floral centerpieces transformed the ballroom into a vibrant summer scene. As the evening continued, music by EastCoast Entertainment carried the celebration into a lively night beneath the grand columns, closing out a wedding that felt colorful, spirited, and larger than life.
