Where Southern Grandeur Meets Celebration at Middleton Place

Madison and Austin celebrated their March wedding at Middleton Place in Charleston, South Carolina, surrounded by the estate’s iconic gardens and centuries-old live oaks draped in Spanish moss. The historic grounds offered a quintessential Lowcountry backdrop, blending natural grandeur with timeless Southern elegance.

The design embraced a refined palette of white and green, with lush arrangements by Tiger Lily Weddings featuring hydrangeas, roses, and delicate greenery softening each space. Their ceremony unfolded beneath sweeping oak branches, where white folding chairs lined a manicured pathway and filtered sunlight added a quiet glow to their vows.

The reception moved into the Pavilion, where expansive windows framed views of the historic grounds. Woven pendant lights and golden starburst chandeliers cast a warm ambiance across the room, while the dance floor became the lively heart of the celebration. The Midnight City kept the energy high with a dynamic live set, and a custom neon sign introduced a modern note to the classic setting.

Personal touches elevated the evening, including a live painting by Jeleata Nicole Fine Art that captured the celebration in real time. Expertly orchestrated by Goldbug Events, every transition felt seamless and every detail intentionally layered, allowing the couple to be fully present throughout the day.
