White and Gold Grandeur at Hilton Alexandria Mark Center

Medina and Yousef’s May wedding at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center in Alexandria, Virginia was a radiant celebration of love, faith, and cultural tradition. Set during the transition from spring to early summer in the Washington D.C. Metro area, the day blended refined elegance with deeply meaningful customs.

Medina was breathtaking in a crystal-encrusted ballgown adorned with dimensional floral appliqués and sheer beaded sleeves, paired with a cathedral veil to match. Yousef complemented her in a classic black tuxedo with a bow tie and white rose boutonniere, creating a timeless silhouette at her side. Beauty services by Faneela Qadiry enhanced Medina’s luminous bridal look with polished, graceful detail.

The Hilton’s grand ballroom transformed into a white-and-gold reception setting. Tall glass vases overflowed with white hydrangeas, ivory roses, and eucalyptus atop crisp white linens and Chiavari chairs. The sweetheart stage featured sweeping white drapery and arched floral installations cascading with blooms beneath crystal chandeliers glowing in soft lavender light. A five-tier cake by BD Bakes, finished in pearl-white fondant and adorned with cascading florals, served as an elegant focal point.

As the evening progressed, the dance floor filled with jubilant celebration and joyful energy. Seamlessly hosted by the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center, which provided catering and coordination, the day was artfully preserved by Arazo Studios with a cinematic perspective that highlighted both the grandeur of the setting and the heartfelt traditions woven throughout.
