Surrounded by the rolling hills of the Shenandoah Valley, Rachael and Bernie celebrated their late-summer wedding at Red August Farm, a day brimming with color, joy, and the effortless beauty of rural Virginia.

Under the creative direction of Bouquets & Bustles, the ceremony unfolded beneath golden September sunlight, where a wooden arbor draped in soft white fabric stood amid fields of wildflowers. White chairs lined the grassy aisle bordered by blooms in shades of purple, pink, and ivory. Ruffles & Rust Florals designed Rachel’s bouquet — a lush, freeform arrangement of dahlias, roses, and meadow flowers that felt freshly gathered from the surrounding fields, perfectly complementing the season’s warmth.

Inside the rustic barn, string lights cast a golden glow over vintage-inspired tablescapes featuring blush and lavender glassware, wooden runners, and floral centerpieces bursting with late-summer charm. Guests danced to the sounds of the Bachelor Boys Band, while a semi-naked cake adorned with fresh strawberries and edible flowers reflected the day’s natural elegance.
