Wine Country Romance at Olympia’s Valley Estate

Angela and Coleman celebrated their September wedding at Olympia’s Valley Estate in Petaluma, California, where rolling Sonoma County pastures and a serene pond created a picturesque setting for their late-summer celebration. The countryside estate set a warm and inviting tone for a day defined by vibrant seasonal color and thoughtful details, with Whiskey Feather Events guiding the celebration from start to finish.

The ceremony took place on the pondside lawn beneath graceful weeping willows, where rows of mahogany folding chairs lined a sandy aisle leading to a floral-framed altar. Floral design by Aimie Lomeli Floral Designs layered the space with peach and coral dahlias, blush roses, white delphinium, pampas grass, and trailing greenery in a palette of terracotta, peach, blush, and ivory. Angela carried a bouquet echoing those sun-warmed tones, perfectly complementing her lace fit-and-flare gown and cathedral veil. A playful highlight came when the ring bearer walked down the aisle holding a sign that read “They promised me cake after this.”

The reception moved into the estate’s barn, where timber ceilings and warm wood details framed long tables dressed in white linens and garden-style centerpieces of dahlias, scabiosa, and cosmos. Park Avenue Catering led the evening’s dining experience, with cocktail hour bites followed later by wood-fired pizza that added relaxed Sonoma charm. As the night unfolded, Olympia Ice Cream Co. rolled in with a vintage cart serving sweet scoops to guests while tambourines appeared on the dance floor and the barn filled with music and laughter. Amy DeBonis Photography approached the day with a joyful, documentary style that keeps every moment vividly alive, while Aesthetically by Kayla preserved the celebration’s behind-the-scenes moments as the evening carried on in joyful wine country style.
