Mimosa Barn

Built in the 1860s, this historic property contains numerous original farm buildings alongside modernized amenities that include a catering prep kitchen and a converted fire pit. Couples enjoy full use of the barn and grounds from noon Friday until noon on Sunday and are invited to customize their weekend festivities.

Mimosa Barn is hugged by 17 pristine acres of private forest and grassland and is situated on the tranquil Eyre Hall Creek near Cape Charles. Sparkling waters invite a healthy osprey, bald eagle and heron population and the original farmhouse and outbuildings make for timeless and creative wedding photos.

The Mimosa Barn holds fast to its original charm while providing a completely refurbished environment with modern amenities. Savor the luxuriously appointed dressing suite with an outdoor patio, 2,200 square feet of entertainment space and indoor and outdoor celebration areas. The renovated barn features romantic white paneling, large windows and a roomy balcony while the lawn offers plenty of space for a large outdoor reception tent. Other amenities include a 220-square-foot stage, a built-in bar, sound system and a fire pit.
